Body of Knowledge on Utility Regulation

The goal of the Body of Knowledge on Utility Regulation is to improve the awareness of regulatory best practice and help regulatory professionals access both established and cutting edge learning on issues central to a well-functioning regulatory system.The online BoK has been developed by the Public Utility Research Center(PURC) at the University of Florida, in collaboration with the University of Toulouse, the Pontificia Universidad Catolica, the World Bank, and a panel of international experts, with funding from PPIAF.

International Forum for Utility Regulation (IFUR) was established to improve the exchange of information on infrastructure reforms and utility regulation, encourage policy debate among various stakeholder groups, and expand opportunities for professional training. The site contains International Directory of Utility Regulatory Institutions, which includes addresses and brief descriptions of nearly 800 regulatory institutions world wide, and International Directory of Regulatory Strategy Departments in Private Infrastructure Companies containing contact information for 100 major private infrastructure companies and their regulatory strategy departments.
